POTA Activation 7/15/26 at the Blue Ridge Parkway Overlook – Photos On Wednesday July 15, 2026, Rowan ARS members Bob T. and Rick N., along with fellow Amateur friends of theirs, enjoyed a great POTA outing at the Blue Ridge Parkway overlook. Rick shared some of the photos from the event. Most notably, Bob was able to use and learn his new-to-him ICOM IC-7300 rig that he purchased at the Firecracker Hamfest the previous weekend. Bob had recently earned his General license. From what we hear, Bob’s been really taking of his new HF capabilities!
